Dr. Erin Reid, D.V.M

Dr. Reid joined our team of Veterinarians in 2016. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2006, and completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery from 2006-2007.  Upon completion of her internship, she has worked at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Centre in Toronto practicing emergency medicine.  Over the last 9 years, Erin has also worked as a locum veterinarian in several small animal practices.  Although she loves emergency medicine, and is comfortable handling any type of emergency and critical patient, she also enjoys  small animal practice and preventative medicine.  Erin and her husband have 2 daughters, a sweet little dog named Jenny and two cats.  

Dr. Vanessa Choy, D.V.M

Dr. Vanessa Choy is the newest member to our team of Veterinarians. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters in Medical Biophysics before switching her career and going back to school. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and completed her Small Animal Rotating Internship both at Ontario Veterinary College in 2012.  

Dr. Choy enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a particular interest in surgeries, pain management and preventative medicine.  She is also Fear Free Certified.

While not working, Dr. Choy enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, her two sons, Ashton and Ryan, and her two boy cats Lincoln and Jersey.  As well, she volunteers her time on the Board of Management at the Toronto Zoo. 

Dr. Aimee Bachand, DVM

Dr. Aimee Bachand as the newest addition to our veterinary team! After completing a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Molecular Virology at he University of Guelph, she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2007 and became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bachand enjoys all areas of small animal veterinary practice. She is excited to be part of a team that focuses on high quality preventative medicine and is dedicated to keeping your furry family members happy and healthy.

When not at work Dr. Bachand enjoys spending time with her 2 dogs, Finnigan the Papillon and Linus the West Highland Terrier, and her 2 cats, Abbey and Sadie. She also has a dedicated yoga practice and enjoys travelling to sunny beaches or exploring new cities. Dr. Bachand is excited to experience all the wonderful shops and restaurants in Bloor West Village and Finnigan and Linus are antsy to explore beautiful High Park.
